It’s often said, making policy is like making sausage– you really don’t want to see how it’s done. Under Delegate Glass’ leadership, the opposite is true! She is actually recruiting citizens of the 89th to see how it’s done and to DO IT!

This summer, she’s inviting YOU to help make policy about issues you care about at the first ever SUMMER SCHOOL FOR CERTIFIED DOERS!

You can attend any of the evening or morning sessions to learn more about how to help make policy and affect change. There will also be time to join a policy work group to work on bills related to issues you care about.

You will learn to identify issues and potential solutions, research the different solutions and funding requirements and then develop bills that implement those solutions. You’ll also learn how to effectively line up talking points for your bill, recruit speakers to back your bill and think about ways to build support. Along the way, you will learn more about issues you’re passionate about and identify allies.

We will all work together to advance your policy as a real bill!
