School boards; policies for excusing students from attendance at school; religious reasons.

Requires each local school board to develop policies for excusing students who are absent from school for religious reasons, including the observance of a religious holiday or participation in religious instruction. Current law only requires each local school board to develop policies for excusing students who are absent from school by reason of observance of a religious holiday.
